Living the Dream.

A year ago I figured out what to do with my life...

And now I'm actually doing it? Working at an awesome top salon and doing theater by the PM? Thug life. This summer I plan on just living it up... My reality check at the beginning of 2010 has me really appreciating all this that I have.

And right now I'm going to sit and sip my raspberry green tea/apple juice combo before call and contemplate.

I see Lady Gaga in a week [score] and will be getting the new ipod later in the month [double score].

All I'm saying to you, July. Is... Don't let me down. <3

Watch it.

I'm not sure what this summer is up to yet. I guess it's only the 23rd, so it technically just started. So far - if you count all of June, it's been a lot of lazy-ing in my pool, visiting friends, frequenting bars and working.

I've made an extra special mission of having a drink of the summer:

Which you may think obvious, but I never had so many Margaritas until this summer. I want it to be 2011 and I have a sip and I go, "Ahhh tastes like Summer 2010." I mean it in the best way possible.

Usually it's music that reminds me of summer.. Sort of like..

This bitch reminds me of 2008. And how much she's blown up since then. This summer marks her being on the cover of Rolling Stone TWICE. Anddd I'm seeing her July 7 for ten times the price of my first Gaga ticket.

Getting the iPhone 4 this weekend, even though I technically don't need a new phone. But it's pretty and I wants it.

Ghost of Summer's Past

Don't Call Me Nostalgic

So I guess this blog is a summer tradition. So it's only fitting I listen to my on-going summer playlist. And although I don't really have a 'summer vacation', it doesn't mean I can't make this summer awesome, right?

After all, I have summer reading:

Something I want to buy this summer:

And a sequel to write:

So while I may not have too much free time on my schedule, friends living next door, or a vacation home in Maine I have things to look forward to, a great job, new friends and plenty of downtown mexican places for tacos and margaritas. That's what summer should be about, yea?

And as usual, I'll be writing it all here so I can remember it.
